SAGE – 890-4 Xi 2. This is a 9 foot four piece for an 8 weight, generation V graphite (the latest and greatest from Sage). It has Titanium stripping guides and Titanium plated Hopkins and Holloway snake guides. The blank is a deep blue color and the thread wraps are a deep blue with tan, silver and blue metallic accents. Handle is full wells made on the blank with premium 5 star cork and features my custom fighting butt. It has a machined, triple anodized aluminum Struble reel seat in a gray finish. Priced at $513.50!

SAGE 1390-4 Xi 2. This is a 9 foot four piece for a 13 weight, generation V graphite (latest and greatest technology). It has Titanium plated, oversized Hopkins and Holloway guides through out and an oversized tip top. It has my custom fighting butt, Struble U-18 reel seat gray in color. The deep blue blank is wrapped in a lighter blue primary thread with a light yellow and tan accent. The built on the blank grip is extended 4 corks and beveled for two handed receive. Very, very nice! Priced at $538.50!

SAGE 790-4 Xi 2. This is a 9 foot 4 piece for a 7 weight, generation V graphite (newest technology). It has Hopkins and Holloway stripping guides (16/12mm) and H & H snake guides, all titanium plated with oversized tip top. It has my custom fighting butt (1 cork and custom butt cap), Struble U-15 gray, machined triple anodized with locking O ring reel seat. It has my built on the blank handle in full wells with two blue decorative burled corks in the grip. This deep blue blank is wrapped with an aqua (blue/green) primary thread and has metallic gold and gunmetal colored accent thread. Probably the finest Red Fish and Bonefish rod possible. SAGE 690-4XP. This is a 9 foot for 6 weight in a 4 piece. It has a Struble U-17 black anodized reel seat with Myrtle wood insert in the uplock. It has 16/12mm Hopkins and Holloway stripping guides and H & H snake guides – all titanium plated. The grip is modified full wells built on the blank sized slightly smaller, perfect for smaller hands/ladies. The olive green blank is wrapped in a primary thread of deep burgundy with a gray and blue accent. Very pretty! Priced at $490.00!

SAGE 380 XP. This is an 8 foot two piece for a 3 weight – very fast and nimble for a 3! Super spring creek, tight spots rod. It has a Struble Nickel Silver reel seat in the uplock with a cocobolo wood insert. It has a Fuji titanium plated 12mm stripping guide and Hopkins and Holloway snake guides. The built on the blank grip is in the ‘whale tail’/’fish tail’ configuration built with 5 star premium cork – very functional and somewhat unusual. This olive green blank is wrapped in a dark red color with tan and silver accents. Special rod for special use. Priced at $435.95.

SAGE 1090-4 Xi 2. This is a 9 foot 4 piece for a 10 weight in the new generation V graphite from Sage. THE premium Permit, small Tarpon, light offshore, Stripper, Salmon rod! It has a Struble U-18 reel seat which is triple anodized, machined with locking O ring in black, custom built on the blank grip in full wells, has my custom fighting butt and butt cap. The deep blue blank is wrapped in a deep blue primary thread with accent threads of blue, silver, and gunmetal metallic and as in all my rods, conservative but definitely custom!

SAGE 7100-4 TCR. This is a 10 foot 4 piece for a 7 weight – ‘ultra fast’ action. Positively spectacular – especially for those fishing in waist deep waters, from a bank along the river/lake, or those Kayaker’s! This rod requires a short casting stroke and will throw very tight loops. It has a Struble U-15 gray metallic reel seat, machined, anodized, locking O ring, Fuji titanium high frame stripping guides of 16/12mm and Hopkins and Holloway snake guides. The blank is a ‘chili pepper’ color and is wrapped with a burnt orange primary color with silver metallic and a tan accent color. Spectacular in every way! The built on the blank grip and fighting butt is custom full wells with custom butt cap. The rod is so light you won’t believe it is 10 foot! Priced at $553.50!

ST.CROIX 2F904. This St. Croix rod is a 9 foot 2 piece for a 4 weight. Reel seat is a Struble polished aluminum uplock with a cocobolo wood spacer. Great rod for beginners or those wanting to move up a notch from an entry level rod. This tobacco brown blank is wrapped in a brown primary thread with gold accent. It has Fuji gold stripping guide and gold single foot snake guides. Very pretty. Price INCLUDES a 9’ rod/reel case (value $89!). Priced at $288.95 including case!).

SAGE 370-3. This is a Sage 7 foot in a THREE piece with line rating 8 to 12 lb. test. Great for travel, light fresh and salt use. It has my custom butt cap, custom built on the blank grip with my ‘hidden’ hood reel seat (Fuji SKM 16 skeleton) for a wonderful all cork feel! I bury the forward hood inside the cork rings and use the threaded gold uplock rear hood. It has Fuji SIC gold single foot guides and tip top. This brown blank is wrapped in a medium dark brown primary thread with gold accent. This rod is special priced at $323.50 and comes with a brown Sage rod bag.

ST. CROIX 3C70MHXF. This is a St. Croix 7 foot one piece spinning rod line rated 10 – 17 lb. test. Great bass rod or coast rod. It has an ‘extra fast’ tip and a lot of power. It has a Fuji spinning reel seat, graphite and stainless hoods. It has Fuji black anodized stainless steel SIC guides and tip top and my special built on the blank handle utilizing several blue and red burled corks. This gunmetal gray blank is wrapped with in aqua with red and silver accent. It has a diamond wrap with aqua under and silver and red metallic over. Beautiful rod! Priced at $275.50

SAGE 386. This casting rod is 8 ½ foot long in a two piece for those that want to ‘reach out and touch something’! Great caster and fish fighter! It has a Fuji graphite reel seat with stainless hood, hookeeper, Fuji double foot black anodized stainless steel SIC guides and tip top. This brown blank is wrapped with a deep navy blue primary thread and blue and copper metallic accent threads. It is line rated 8 – 20 pound test. Wonderful jetty, coastal rod and salmon rod. Priced at $390.50

ST. CROIX 5C70MHF. This casting rod is 7 foot rated medium heavy – fast and is line rated 10 – 20 pound test and is St. Croix’s top of the line. It has my built on the blank handle with a slightly oversized palm swell. It has a Fuji graphite and stainless hood reel seat, Fuji black anodized high frame SIC casting guides and tip top. The beautiful green blank is wrapped in a black primary thread with copper metallic and a tan accent thread. It has a beautiful diamond wrap with tan under, black, green and copper over. Priced at $326.50!

ST. CROIX 3C70MF. This casting rod is a graphite 3 line rated 10 – 17 lb test medium fast tip. It has a Fuji graphite and stainless reel seat, my custom built on the blank handle, Fuji gold anodized stainless steel casting guides and tip top. The gunmetal gray blank is wrapped in a dark green with gold, tan and light brown accent threads. It has a diamond wrap with dark green color preserved under and tan, light brown, and gold over. As with all my casting and spinning rods, I wrap a hookeeper at the front of the grip, have thread fish measurement marks on the blank. Priced at $271.50!

We have a large inventory or Sage and St. Croix blanks and can build to order with delivery in about 2 weeks. You may want to look at some of the SAGE casting and spinning rods we have in inventory some of which are 6 and 7’ in length in three piece for ease in travel and I also have a selection of SAGE blanks in 7’9”, 8 ½’, 9’, up to 11’ in two piece.
